The Crows Secret Society of Play
This was shot at the Dallas Rd dog walking area Victoria BC, May 10 2009 at 7:45pm.
These crows were amazing, they were playing collectively. They were flipping, rolling, spinning and dropping in joyous freefall. One moment they would be copying one another and in the next moment begin improvising on the latest move by the leader of the moment. For about 20 minutes I was in the middle of this aerial ballet as they flew past me and soared skyward in serious play.
